In the case of our pads, this is not just another attempt to use materials of different hardness (density) in combination with ceramic balls with their “innovative” arrangement or design solution, and in this way try to influence with more or less success the undesirable resonances of individual components or speakers. There is much more to it.

The materials and components of the products, stainless steel, ceramic balls, all processed by our unique IST technology, taking this kind of accessories to a new level. In principle, it’s about more than just resonance, even in the case of pads. All materials and objects made of them, regardless of how they are usually categorized in physics textbooks (conductive-non-conductive, magnetic-non-magnetic, higher-lower density), exhibit electromagnetic “activity”. In the world in which we live we do not have at our disposal, and we also cannot produce substances, materials and therefore objects that are absolutely non-conductive and non-magnetic, only more or less conductive and magnetic. This means that, in fact, everything around us is in constant electromagnetic interaction and therefore more or less interacting with each other. Based on our research, it appears that even when developing products to eliminate unwanted resonances, it is essential to pay attention to the issue of electromagnetic interference. This knowledge has been capitalized on in the development of our pads, where all product components are modified with our IST technology to eliminate not only the influence of unwanted resonances, but also the interference related to the electromagnetic “activity” of the materials.

For a better understanding of the issue, it is useful to think of our pads as a kind of “switches” that can interrupt the “live” contact of any object placed on them with the environment. It is possible to verify this in a simple way. If the listener has a cultivated ear, he can, for example, put a chair, a table, or anything of a certain size in the listening room under our pads, and he will hear that the sound of the audio system will improve.

The degradation of sound that occurs through the mutual “live” contact of materials (objects) that are not modified by our IST technology can be verified by listening directly on the audio system. If, for example, it is ensured that the cables leading from the components do not touch the base on which the components standing on our pads are placed, this eliminates another “live” contact, in this case the surface of the cable which is connected to the component and at the same time to the base.

So it’s not just about resonance, because as mentioned, any material exhibits both electrical and magnetic “activity” and there are undesirable interactions when they come into contact with each other and also in close proximity. All of this of course has a cumulative effect and therefore as a result a significant effect on the functioning of any audio system. These unwanted interactions arising at a problematically measurable level and the elimination of these unwanted phenomena and the resulting problems is the subject of our years of research. For this purpose, we have developed the aforementioned IST technology, which we use to process all materials and components of our products.

When using our under speaker pads, the effect can be enhanced by using our special pads under the speakers as well, reducing unwanted contact between the speakers and the floor. The ideal condition occurs when the entire audio chain and cables are placed on our pad system, then the sound of the system in question is taken to a new, unrecognised level.

The pads come in Mini, Midi, Maxi, Ultra sizes, which corresponds to their name. The effect of the positive influence of the pads is graduated, meaning that the most significant impact on the audio system can be achieved with our largest “Ultra” pads. However, it is also possible to combine pads from the individual series and also to choose the place of use at your own discretion.

Structurally, it is a system with multiple ceramic spheres that are deposited in layers to ensure not only that resonances are “scattered” in the desired direction, but as mentioned, the material properties and product components are modified and engineered to eliminate electromagnetism-related problems.

This feature sets our pads fundamentally apart from the competition, which can be heard in practice as a significant improvement in sound in all parameters.
