We do not use braided cables because, in our experience, they are problematic precisely in relation to the electromagnetic interactions between the individual fibres of the conductors.

A connector, like any other part of our products, represents a type of "active device" for us. Paradoxically, Furutech connectors, but also several other well-known brands, have not proven themselves in combination with our other materials. Since our research is also focused on materials, especially on their specific properties related to electromagnetism, it is important to test the compatibility of combinations of different materials with each other. Based on this knowledge, we have decided to have connectors made to our requirements, which we customize and also go through a modification process with our IST technology. This ensures that they work in perfect synergy with the cable in terms of their effect on the sound.

In principle, there is no problem with combining our cables from different series, but we recommend using power cables from the same series to the end monoblocks.

Each of our individual products plugged into any system can be immediately identified by the cultivated ear as an overall improvement and bringing the sound "picture" closer to reality or authenticity. Of course, the more of our products involved in the chain, the more real the sound "picture" becomes.

The optimum time is approximately 150 hours, this time can be effectively shortened by using a "starter" device. For this purpose, e.g. the Blue Horizon Proburn can be used.

We use silver-plated copper and pure silver as conductors, which is, so to speak, a certain standard in this area. What makes our materials different from the competition, however, is the fact that not only the conductors, but also all other materials undergo a treatment process. For this purpose, we use the unique IST technology already mentioned. In short, any conductor, whether silver-plated copper or pure silver, after treatment with our technology acquires unique properties, which ultimately sign in a unique and inimitable way not only in the reproduction, but also in the recording of sound. The positive effect is so pronounced that it can be identified by normal listening in any system.
We do not recommend shortening or otherwise interfering with the construction of our cables, including the replacement of connectors and the like. Any of the aforementioned interference degrades the quality of the signal transmission, as all the materials we use in production are customized with our unique IST technology for the specific cable length. This, of course, also applies to our connectors, which have a non-negligible impact on the overall performance of the cable.
IST is a unique technology that we have been developing and refining for several years. We have based this on our own research into the properties of materials, particularly in terms of electromagnetic forces. As part of our research, we have developed it not only to withstand various disturbances in the transmission of an electrical signal from its source to its final output in the form of sound reproduction, but also to absorb and eliminate negative phenomena, particularly those related to electromagnetism and resonances. With IST we process all materials in order to modify their properties. Thanks to this, we can eliminate undesirable accompanying phenomena arising also from the mutual interaction between all the materials used (also non-metallic), thus ensuring their perfect compatibility. The result is an authentic sound image with inimitable characteristics, a significantly positive effect not only on the reproduction but also on the recording of sound in all audible parameters, in a balanced way, i.e. not a "quid pro quo" compromise. The accuracy and resolution of acoustic instruments are not at the expense of the tonal balance and characteristic colouration inherent in particular instruments. Given the fact that this is a unique and revolutionary approach to materials processing, which is also challenging, it is not in our interest to reveal the full know-how. However, using IST technology, we not only manufacture all AAI cables, but also anti-resonance pads and other products from our portfolio. IST tailor-made for a specific cable length. This also applies, of course, to our connectors, which have a non-negligible influence on the overall performance of the cable.
Yes, our cables are directional and very audibly so. The directionality of the cables in the desired way, i.e. to have an easily perceptible effect on the reproduction, is achieved thanks to our IST technology. Even a less experienced listener should be able to immediately identify the right/wrong direction of our cables during a listening test. Any of the cables with the same termination on both sides can be used for this test, e.g. RCA interconnect cables, Ethernet cable or speaker cables. It is therefore important to plug our cables with the same terminations on both sides in the correct direction. The directionality of the cable is indicated by an arrow on the movable metal tube with the logo and series name. As far as cable directionality in general is concerned, this is a complex issue to which we have devoted a long period of our research and we have also reached new insights in this respect, which we have capitalized on in the development of IST technology for materials processing and subsequently in product development and production.
All of our products are made from materials that are treated with unique IST (Interference Suppression Technology). This applies to all materials, i.e. not only conductors, but also dielectrics, braids, etc. As a result, the materials and product components used by us have unique properties, ensuring not only their perfect synergy but also their resistance to undesirable phenomena. The improved acoustic properties of the materials are reflected not only in the reproduction but also in the recording of the sound. The modification of material properties using our IST technology is related to the issues of electromagnetism and resonance. This processing leads to a better perception of the 3D soundstage, microdynamics and listener involvement in musical masterpieces. The best way to find out how our cables differ from the competition is to listen to them.
